Disturbing photos and videos were captured this week by a concerned citizen in Grantsville, Utah. The photos show numerous dead animals, including llamas and even a zebra, in various stages of decay thrown onto a property like they are nothing but garbage.

The animals came from Ivie Acres Farm, a notorious petting zoo business that rents out animals for entertainment through Utah Pony Party and events like Baby Animal Days. Ivie Acres has been on UARC’s radar for years, as they are constantly cited by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for violating federal animal welfare laws.

The USDA has cited Ivie Acres Farm dozens of times for violating federal animal welfare laws, including an instance last year when Zoey, a 6 month old zebra, died after falling out of a moving trailer on the interstate. Given their long history of repeat and critical violations, UARC urges the USDA not to renew Ivie Acres exhibitor license, and urges the public to choose cruelty-free entertainment instead of hiring companies that use and abuse animals.
